Jannis Mayr is a professional Concept Designer from Germany who has worked in the entertainment industry since 2008. He has worked as a Matte Painter and Concept Artist for clients including Axis Studios, Karakter Design Studio, Guerilla Games, Monolith, Santa Monica Studios, Terraform Studios, and many others on unannounced titles and games. Some of his game credits include God of War Ragnarök and Horizon Forbidden West.

Jannis is a unicorn in that he is both exceptionally creative and also exceptionally skilled; his ability to think outside the box and apply that creative love of world-building to his work really shines through. While many concept artists can produce functional production art, Jannis produces beautiful and detailed pieces in the same timescale. I can't recommend him enough and believe he's an asset to anything he works on, deeply skilled, ultra-creative, supremely committed, and very responsible. 10/10.
